Lisbon, June 23, 2023 – The "Engineering a Better Future with Women" panel discussion, organized by IEEE Women in Engineering to mark International Women in Engineering Day, successfully took place at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. The event featured a remarkable keynote address by Dr. Sanaz Nikghadam-Hojjati, Director of WoSTEM and Senior Researcher at RICS Group-CTS-UNINOVA.
Dr. Nikghadam-Hojjati’s keynote centered on the topic of "Feeling Economy and Gender Equality," where she explored how emotions, empathy, and inclusivity are essential in shaping a more diverse and equitable engineering industry.
